
Gábor Lukács, MD completed his university studies at the Szent-Györgyi Albert Faculty of
Medicine of the University of Szeged in 2006. After graduating from university, he started
working at the surgery department of the Kaposi Mór Teaching Hospital in Somogy County,
where in 2012, had become surgeon. After that, he started working in the Dept. of Clinical
Oncology of Kaposi Mór Teaching Hospital in January 2013, and finally, in April 2015, he
passed the clinical oncology exam. In 2021, at the Doctoral School of Health Science of the
University of Pécs, he obtained a PhD degree and defended his doctoral dissertation on the
topic of organization of oncology patient pathways.
Since November 2015, he has been the chief physician participating in the development of the
oncology patient pathway organization system - OnkoNetwork - at the Kaposi Mór Teaching
Hospital in Somogy County and responsible for its professional supervision.
